Tentative Detailed Schedule
March 24, 2013: Start with welcome lunch and end with dinner. All proceedings at Oberoi, Delhi
March 25, 2013: Full day event at IIIT-Delhi; dinner hosted at IIIT-Delhi
March 26, 2013: End after lunch at IIIT-Delhi
As a result of this workshop, participants will have
- Developed a clear mutual understanding of the research environments and systems in which they operate (UK and India) and of their respective ‘research cultures'
- Formed evidenced opinions on the strengths, weaknesses and complementarities of their respective research capabilities. In particular, they will be able to judge the quality and value of past and current research outputs
- In some sense ‘mapped’ current cyber security research in the UK and India
- Identified which, if any, key areas of research offer the greatest potential for mutual benefit, and the nature of that benefit, as a result of future UK-India collaboration
- Identified (for those key areas) aims, benefits, issues and the most effective means of pursuing further activity

- Risk identification, reduction, mitigation and management
- Making systems more resilient
- Cyber cirme
- Privacy and security in Online Social Media
- Human factors and usable security
